On the other hand, those who advocate this form of rock climbing claim that it is the only way that rock climbers can perform their sport all through the year and so, despite adverse weather conditions one can still climb a rock and fulfill ones desire regardless of the circumstances.
Always take one or two extra layers with you especially if it is cold. You can put on or take off layers according to how hard you are hiking and it’s always good to have some warm fleece to put on when you stop for your breaks. Keep your head dry by using the adjustable hood on your jacket or a wide brimmed waterproof breathable hat. Keep your feet dry and warm by wearing a good pair of waterproof hiking boots and hiking socks. Make sure that your boots have “gusseted” tongues to keep the water out of your boots if you step in a puddle.
Once you have bought your mountain climbing gear you then need to carry it very carefully till you get to the top of the rock and to facilitate this, you may need to clip a few things to your harness while also carrying the lighter items in your pockets, though of course the number of items you can carry in this way will be rather limited. In fact, there are many rock climbers who have found it better to use special backpacks in which to hold all their essential items.
